Biological Warfare Behold the Pale Horse

Over the past several years, the United States has embarked on a program of secret research on biological weapons that, some officials say, tests the limits of the global treaty banning such weapons.
The 1972 treaty forbids nations from developing or acquiring weapons that spread disease, but it allows work on vaccines and other protective measures. Government officials said the secret research, which mimicked the major steps a state or terrorist would take to create a biological arsenal, was aimed at better understanding the threat.
The projects, which have not been previously disclosed, were begun under President Clinton and have been embraced by the Bush administration, which intends to expand them.
Earlier this year, administration officials said, the Pentagon drew up plans to engineer genetically a potentially more potent variant of the bacterium that causes anthrax, a deadly disease ideal for germ warfare.
The experiment has been devised to assess whether the vaccine now being given to millions of American soldiers is effective against such a superbug, which was first created by Russian scientists. Two other projects completed during the Clinton administration focused on the mechanics of making germ weapons.
In a program code-named Clear Vision, the Central Intelligence Agency built and tested a model of a Soviet-designed germ bomb that agency officials feared was being sold on the international market. The C.I.A. device lacked a fuse and other parts that would make it a working bomb, intelligence officials said.
At about the same time, Pentagon experts assembled a germ factory in the Nevada desert from commercially available materials. Pentagon officials said the project demonstrated the ease with which a terrorist or rogue nation could build a plant that could produce pounds of the deadly germs. Both the mock bomb and the factory were tested with simulates… kinds of substances with characteristics similar to the germs used in weapons.
A senior Bush administration official said all the projects were ''fully consistent'' with the treaty banning biological weapons and were needed to protect Americans against a growing danger. ''This administration will pursue defenses against the full spectrum of biological threats,'' the official said.
The treaty, another administration official said, allows the United States to conduct research on both microbes and germ munitions for ''protective or defensive purposes.''
Some Clinton administration officials worried, however, that the project violated the pact. And others expressed concern that the experiments, if disclosed, might be misunderstood as a clandestine effort to resume work on a class of weapons that President Nixon had relinquished in 1969.
Simultaneous experiments involving a model of a germ bomb, a factory to make biological agents and the development of more potent anthrax, these officials said, would draw vociferous protests from Washington if conducted by a country the United States viewed as suspect.
Administration officials said the need to keep such projects secret was a significant reason behind President Bush's rejection of a draft agreement to strengthen the germ-weapons treaty, which has been signed by 143 nations.
The draft would require those countries to disclose where they are conducting defensive research involving gene-splicing or germs likely to be used in weapons. The sites would then be subject to international inspections.
Many national security officials in both the Clinton and Bush administrations opposed the draft, arguing that it would give potential adversaries a road map to what the United States considers its most serious vulnerabilities.
Among the facilities likely to be open to inspection under the draft agreement would be the West Jefferson, Ohio, laboratory of the Battelle Memorial Institute, a military contractor that has been selected to create the genetically altered anthrax.
Several officials who served in senior posts in the Clinton administration acknowledged that the secretive efforts were so poorly coordinated that even the White House was unaware of their full scope.
Some call such weaponry the poor man’s atomic bomb… its construction is cheaper and its effects are potentially as far-reaching and devastating. The ability to manufacture chemical or biological threats is relatively much easier and its availability more widespread that nuclear weapons. Because of this, many believe any future terrorist attacks might include biological/chemical weapons similar to anthrax. Though seemingly a new threat, similar weaponry has been the subject of debate for decades.
Biological warfare is the intentional use of disease-causing microorganisms or other entities that can replicate themselves (viruses, infectious nucleic acids and prions) against humans, animals or plants for hostile purposes. It may also involve the use of toxins: poisonous substances produced by living organisms…plants…and animals. If they are utilized for warfare purpose, the synthetically manufactured counterparts of these toxins are biological weapons.
Delivery of such substances can be as easy as sending it via mail, as in the anthrax example, or as sophisticated as mounting a chemical warhead onto a missile. Other possible means of delivery include introducing a substance to a water supply or through air dispersal in the form of gas.
As far back as ancient Roman civilization, where feces were thrown into faces of enemies, warring nations have been involved with the use of biological weaponry. Despite its long history, it is perhaps best to look at more recent events. With the better understanding of disease in the 20th century, various forms of chemical and biological weaponry emerged. For example, during World War I, poisonous gases were used in addition to anthrax applications by German operatives. Even more recently, radical groups have implemented various chemical agents with the intent of mass destruction. For example, in addition to the anthrax threat, in March of 1995, a nerve gas called sarin was released in a subway system of Japan.
Biological warfare is like opening Pandora’s Box. Through natural selection, microorganisms acquire resistance to conventional antibiotics. Coupled with advances in genomics and genetic engineering, the evolution of highly virulent, multidrug-resistant pathogens provides a resource that could be misused for the design of future biological warfare agents.
The world’s top Microbiologist are suddenly dying or as some allude to being murdered! While some of these deaths may be purely coincidental and seem to pose no connection, many of these deaths are highly suspicious and appear not to be random acts of violence.
Over the past years, a large number of the world’s most esteemed Microbiologists…all of whom were focused on combating bio-terrorism have died under questionable circumstances. One was stabbed with a sword, another run over by a car, while a third was bashed over the head until dead. A scientist was found with repeated stab wounds to the chest; another was shoved under a chair… naked from the waist down; one perished in a nitrogen-filled airlock; another was carjacked, with his keys still in the ignition and a full tank of gas.
None of these men died of natural causes. Their murders were deliberate sending a clear message to virus experts, immunologists, entomologists, and those researching bio-weaponry: your lives are in grave danger. What did these scientists know that was so important that they had to be silenced or what cure could they have come up with to what's about to be deliberately released.
Is there a darker side to microbiology? Is the rider of the pale horse ready to be

of the pale horse come in a form of an air born multi-drug resistant pathogens.

Articles like this Health Day News report on Wednesday April 13th -- An influenza virus estimated to have caused the deaths of more than 1 million people in 1957 was mistakenly sent to thousands of laboratories around the world during the past few months.
Scientists, health organizations and governments are now attempting to have the killer virus destroyed before any of it is released, inadvertently or otherwise.
The Associated Press reports that almost 5,000 labs in 18 countries, mostly in the United States received the virus, known as the H2N2 "Asian flu", in quality control test kits sent by Meridian Bioscience Inc. of Cincinnati. According to the wire service, the company manufactures influenza test kits that medical facilities use for quality control of flu vaccine. The problem first surfaced, the AP reported, when a Canadian testing lab detected the deadly virus and notified health authorities.
The current Swine Flu outbreak in Mexico which now has become global brings a sobering thought to mind how fragile human life can become during the event of a global pestilences.
I personally believe that a global stage is being set right before our eyes as God’s Word has predict would transpire before the coming of our Jesus Christ.
