In the Qu’ran, Muslims are expecting their 12th Imam, who they call their Mahdi “the guided one”. He is to be of the same name as "Muhammad". The definition of Abaddon and the fact that the root comes from Abraham, note that Islam claims to come from Abraham through his son Ishmael. The Bible calls him, Abaddon, the Hebrew name for "destroyer." Islam calls him, al-Mahdi, "master of the sword," and the "long awaited one."
Shiite Muslims stand at an ancient well, believing their Mahdi will arise out of it. The "Mahdi" that millions of fundamentalist Muslims are looking forward to with great anticipation, as has been spoken of many times by Iran's Ayatollahs and of course, President Ahmadinejad. Not only that, Ahmadinejad has stated in speeches that Islam will destroy the West has his own unique role to play in this radicalized rise of Islam.
Considering the current state of world affairs and biblical prophecy; the rise of Global Radical Islam, with the rise of Iran and the fact that Islamic terrorists would like to kill millions of Americans with nuclear weapons makes us believe we are living in some unsettling times. Many people are starting to realize that our days on Earth may truly be numbered. At least if you live in the United States, as a nuclear attack on the United States appears to be prophesied in multiple books of the Bible.

News reports show that our government is concerned as well; San Francisco Chronicles May 11, 2007 writes an article on the Contingencies for nuclear terrorist attack. The Chicago Tribune writes another article Cheney: Nuclear terrorist attack inside the U.S. "a very real threat’’ This is why we continue to hear month after month about the concern of a terrorist attack… It's no secret!
The terrible events of September 11, 2001 changed our world, changed America and a mysterious Pro-Islamic Anti Terrorist Agenda has captivated our society. For the first time in this Nations history we have a pro-Islamic anti Judeo-Christian president in the Whitehouse. When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to cooperate with the Nation of Israel and his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations.
In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions:
April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren't like them” Christianity Today, April 13, 2008.
April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name be covered when he is making his speech. NBC Washington, April 17, 2009.
May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. CNN, August 1, 2011
April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. Fox News, April 22, 2010.
May 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. Fox News, May 27, 2010.
August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. Townhall.com, August 17, 2010
April 2011 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving message. ABC News, November 25, 2011.
November 2011 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. Huffington Post, November 2, 2011.
December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. “Remarks in Recognition of International Human Rights Day,” U.S. Department of State, December 6, 2011.
January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. Christianity Today, January 11, 2012.
The Muslim population in the United States is projected to more than double by 2030. There are about 2.6 million Muslim adults and children in the United States (0.8 percent of the U.S. population) in 2010. That figure is expected to rise to 6.2 million (1.7 percent) in 2030, predicted the Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life report release. “The Future of the Global Muslim Population” report also predicts that the Muslim population worldwide will increase by 35 percent, or from 1.6 billion in 2010 to 2.2 billion by 2030.
With the continuing tensions in Iraq many questions arise concerning the prophetic future of the region, which on the one hand has deep roots as the cradle of civilization and yet also has a destiny in the final Biblical scenario. There may be far more relevance to this region than is commonly recognized in most books and articles on end time prophecy.
When considering this in an eschatological perspective according to Rev 17:8, the Antichrist rises up out of the abyss (pit). They worship the god of fortresses (war or Jihad), and seek to destroy Jews and Christians, the saints. The Antichrist is given power by the dragon to overcome and kill the two witnesses and persecute the saints.
Considering the current state of world affairs, there is a strong indication that the Anti-Christ could turn out to be a Muslim or more specifically, the "Mahdi" that millions of fundamentalist Muslims are looking forward to with great anticipation, as has been spoken of many times by Iran's Ayatollahs and of course, President Ahmadinejad. In the Bible there are 33 titles given to the Anti-Christ, in one Scripture calls the Antichrist “the Assyrian” and points to Nineveh Assyria (roughly where Iraq is currently located) as the place from which the Antichrist will rise. Mic 5:6, Isa 10:5, Isa 10:24, Isa 14:25, Isa 30:31, Isa 31:8 Isa 52:4, Zep 2:13-15. He is also called the King of Babylon, Isa 14:4-25.
The prophet Daniel had predicted the division of the Roman Empire when interpreting King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. (Dan 2:33) Many overlook that the Roman Empire had an Eastern leg that in fact survived the Western leg by a thousand years. In A.D. 284, Emperor Diocletian divided the Empire into two legs as Daniels had predicated nine centuries earlier, his reorganization of the fiscal administrative and military machinery of the Roman Empire temporarily shored up the decaying Empire in the West and laid the foundation for the forthcoming Byzantine Empire of the East.
In A.D. 312, the Emperor Constantine relocated the capital of the Empire to its Eastern Leg, to Byzantium naming it Constantinople (the New Rome). In the late 5th the Western leg began to disinagrate, but the Eastern Leg commonly known as the Byzantine Empire endured until 1453, when it was overrun by the Muslims.
Nebuchadnezzar was a prototype antichrist. It was he who set up a golden image to be worshiped. Note how all the mosques themselves have golden roofs. Nebuchadnezzar killed those who refused to bow when the time came. It was Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon that instituted “the call to prayer”. The Islamic Antichrist, the next King of Babylon, will also set up an image to be worshiped. “When you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments, bow to the ground to worship King Nebuchadnezzar's gold statue.” (Dan 3:5)
It did no matter where you were in Babylon when the sound of the music was heard all had to bow down toward Nebuchadnezzar’s image. The whole mechanism for the worship of the Antichrist’s image has already been set up, without anyone noticing. It is the muslim call to prayer, when they hear the music (Arabic singing) they fall down toward Mecca.

After the false prophet has set up the image of the beast, when the call to prayer comes, those not falling down toward the image, will be killed. (Rev 13:15) The denial of Jesus Christ is written on all eight sides of the dome of the rock, including the inside. Thus to bow down to it, would be a denial of Jesus Christ. Some authors maintain that the dome of the rock with its golden top, is the image of the beast. If it is, then those bowing to it, will be condemned to hell. The Bible says that it speaks, which is really odd seeing that all mosques have speakers on them calling Muslims to prayer.
